°Module Review:

Medical trauma may begin before during and after birth. Potential for  post traumatic stress responses occurs in conjunction with emergency and routine medical procedures, in all stages of life.  Patients, and health care professionals, caregivers  alike are at risk for secondary or vicarious trauma, as well. We will explore reproducitve technologies, ,obstetrical and pediatric practices and protocols that can have traumatizing effects for relationships and entire families.

Our emphasis will be upon the importance of developing resources for a sense of empowerment and resiliency and overcoming fear in relation to diseases and their aftermath
